It has many eminent alumni. Eight U.S. presidents and several foreign heads of state have been graduates. It is also the lama mater of 62 living billionaires and 335 Rhodes Scholars, both the most in the country

Radcliffe College, one of the Seven Sisters schools, progressed from easygoing rule offered to individual women or little social events of women by Harvard University staff in the 1870. In 1879 a workforce social event called the Harvard Annex made a full course of study open to women, paying little respect to impenetrable to coeducation from the school's association.
